Tom1172
Donation 67: Peru, May 2018 The Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal are pleased to announce that we will maintaining our pledge to donate wherever the Scotland National team play when we present donation number 67 to Project Peru in Lima on May 29th 2018. Project Peru is a small UK based charity that runs a refuge in Zapallal, a desert shanty town on the outskirts of Lima. The refuge offers food, clothes, shelter, education, health & fun to the 50 children who live there. The Refuge also gives ongoing & practical support to those who live in extreme poverty in the local community. Having personally met with the founders of the charity, the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal are confident that our donation will make a real and significant difference to the lives of everyone at the refuge. This donation will also set a significant landmark for TASA as it will be the furthest we have travelled to make a charitable donation. It would be good if a few TA members could join us on match day morning when we visit the refuge. More details will follow nearer the time.
