Nobody wants to speak ill of the dead but history will show the whole Thompson family were a disaster for United. In Thompson seniors defence he at least had the club at heart and did throw in his dosh with no financial return but their tenure has ultimately ruined us. Thompson Junior on the other hand is a cowardly rat that used the club as a cash cow. His recent announcement to stand down is a complete smoke screen. He has just installed one of his lackies. Until he sells his shares and fucks off proper we won’t start the road to recovery Sounds remarkably like Killie under Jim Moffat and Jamie Moffat, although Jim was great for us, his failure was having no contingency for when he died and left it to his son who couldn't care less about football, wanted out the club and got one of his lackies in (Michael Johnston) to basically work as an administrator.
