Just read that, a couple of interesting points

"the players first knew about these games when they read it in the papers. There was no consultation with the clubs, SPFL or players themselves". Classic SFA

“We as a trade union regard annual leave as a health and safety issue. It’s a directive from the European Union which is mandatory. People must be given a break from work. We all need it. We all need to recover mentally and physically.

Should give the players 22 days a year + bank Holidays and they should book them in advance.

You can’t possibly use time off to link being a footballer to being someone in a regular 9 to 5 as they are so different.

Lets flip it round & say that people must be given more money Fraser. We all need it. We all need to have more money to spend.

Balloon.

Fraser Wishart is another non-entity who has worked his way onto the gravy train with the old pals act. What does he actually do? Releases the odd press snippet every quarter just to keep his name in the loop to keep himself in a job

He's just another fraud that's infiltrated  Scottish football for years taking what he can out of the game. He's irrelevant

I just said there were a couple of interesting points.

A. the players and clubs knew nothing about these friendlies

B. That it is actually illegal to treat players in certain ways

The 22 days and bank holidays bit was sarcasm but you might have missed that

The players would have known the dates of these friendlies, theres always an option for a friendly on these dates. It’s not new.

It was beyond laughable when Wishart quoted heath and safety.

Agree.

These are always friendly dates, we often don’t use them - Wishart and Rodgers should remember the fact we play less friendly games than most teams in the world when considering player tiredness and ‘health and safety’ 😂
