Eagle and Buzzard

Recommended Posts

Driving up to Skye the other day I saw a sea eagle and a buzzard having a confrontation.

Suddenly the eagle plummeted to the ground.

I don't know what happened, but I definitely saw the buzzard's head move in the eagle's direction.

From where I was.

I think your spell check went wrong there. I think you mean seagull. A sea eagle would never attack a buzzard nor vice versa. Jist widnae happen.

Seagulls, on the other hand, quite often attack buzzards. As do crows. What you saw, was a confrontation between a seagull and a crow. They were just much closer to you than you thought. Just accept facts and move on.

Yesterday I saw three kestrels attacking a buzzard. It was quite spectacular and very noisy.
