Surely you wouldn’t want him even if he was interested anyway? He’s managed us before and has been out of the game for 5 years. Or would you make an exception for Fergie? Personally I think he’s too old and I’m not convinced he’d be a success with us anyway.

Quite irrelevant in any case. There is more chance of Syria landing a man on the moon than Fergie wanting or taking the job.
weekevie04
It's going to McLeish or McKay isn't it? I'd go with Gemmill out of the likely candidates. Had some reasonable success with the 17s, 19s and although his campaign with the 21s hasn't been too great ; it's probably worth giving him a go rather than someone like McLeish. It won't be popular, but I'd certainly go for Lennon and Clarke too, at least talk to them!
Ally Bongo
You really need a manager who is going to get respect from players right away That wont be the case with Scot Gemmill I've always thought he was a bit of a weirdo as well

Ally Bongo
Whilst i have stated a negative (along with a personal prejudice) i must add that i have no strong objections to Gemmill getting the job I have no strong objections to anyone really - I'm totally apathetic

I have just bought mine from Morrisons. It makes me feel great but stains my teeth.

Brummie Hibs
This seems to have gone very quiet. During the last couple of weeks we were being linked daily with every Scottish manager that ever lived, but now zilch. Have we just given up? DoonTheSlope
A new CEO will be priority, I reckon MacKay will be in charge for the friendly double header and the new CEO will have full control of the hiring of the new manager which makes sense as they will be working closely together on a retailer basis and will want someone they feel can build up.
