Think the Irish would now fancy their chances of a draw in Cardiff, and if they take care of Moldova and the Welsh fail to win in Georgia then they will finish 2nd in the group.....

But out of the play-offs. The last 10 minutes of the game could be very interesting.

Look at their group and there is a chance Wales finish the campaign unbeaten but don't make the playoffs.

Also likely that Switzerland win 9 out of 10 games but end up in the playoffs.

5 draws at this stage isn’t qualifying form, I hope they don’t make it. Particularly after Coleman said the draw they got was kind.

Just looked at the Swiss table. That’s extremely harsh on them and could very well happen. I hope they do it though. You’d much rather have a Portugal in a playoff.

Even if they win in Cardiff it may not be enough as they'll finish on 19 points..

Group H will be the one to watch on Saturday in that case. If Greece and Bosnia drop points 18 points could be enough to get a play off...

Think I seen a stat this morning when Bales have been without Gareth...think it was 8 wins in 30. (May need confirmed)Not great for them although they managed a draw in Serbia in this campaign  when he was suspended.

Totally, for those that have studied that 2nd place table in detail the next few days are going to be excellent viewing, so many scenarios to play out.The business end of these campaigns are where international football comes into its own. Hopefully we're in mix on Sunday.

Wales were brutal tonight.

Ireland were so well organised and every single player put a shift in. It makes our performance last night look even more pathetic.

Yep.

Im delighted wales are out, 98% of their fans are glory hunting wee cheerleaders. Bellamy was so arrogant pre match in the coverage and is now taking the huff. Up them.
