Celtic's Stuart Armstrong song is tremendous. We need to steal that and amend the words.

“Oh Brendan said, we’ve got to play him in centre mid,

“oh words can’t describe, when we see him in the green and white,

“his hair is fine, he scores belters all the time,

“that’s why we sing this song, for Stuart Armstrong!”

Absolute belter with a wee bit humour

We could do worse than nick a few off Celtic to be fair.

"This is how it feels to be Scotland

Missed out on the Euros you know

Strachan is here until we lose to San Marino."

On a serious note the Kieran Tierney song is good. Could maybe ditch the verse as it's all about Celtic and just keep the chorus.

Callum McGregor one too:

"Callum, Callum McGregor

There's no-one better

He's like me and you

He loves Scotland too."

The McGregor song was the worst part about Saturday for me, including McGinn's two goals. Kill it with fire.

How about The Proclaimers, I'm on my Way?

Mainly as a song, it's catchy, it has simple easy chants (echoes) and yeah yeahs, and the end can lead back to the beginnings...

There's scope for replacing some of the lyrics. And it can catch the mood...

The full lyrics are probably too long but a cut down version would work

I'm on my way from misery to happiness today
Ah-hah (ah-hah) ah-hah (ah-hah)
I'm on my way from misery to happiness today
Ah-hah (ah-hah) ah-hah (ah-hah)

I'm on my way to what I want from this world
And years from now you'll make it to the next world
And everything that you receive up yonder
Is what you gave to me the day I wandered

And now that I don't want for anything
I'd have Al Jolson sing I'm sitting on top of the world

I'll do my best, I'll do my best to do the best I can
Ah-hah (ah-hah) ah-hah (ah-hah), yeah
I'll do my best, I'll do my best to do the best I can
Ha-ah ha-ah ha-ah ha-ah

And now that I don't want for anything
I'd have Al Jolson sing I'm sitting on top of the world

I'm on my way
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
I'm on my way
(fade...)

Loved the scotlands on fire at the end of the game on thursday, defo need new songs, hate doh a deer, something up beat that we all can chant an sing, so come on younger tartan army, come up with something

That was getting sung a bit at Wembley as "Big Sam's a liar, Scotlands going to qualify"

Id change it to "Big Sam's retired....."

One that works ok with the music, unlike twist and shout. Just doesn't work with the actual song playing as it's too slow.

A a wee idea which may have been suggested a few years back by someone else (apologies if it has been already done).

Rough draft of what I think is a decent, fun and upbeat song that loads of folk know.

Only a few wee changes to the original lyrics but the place names still need changing to make more appropriate for Scotland and the TA (highlighted in red). Could be Paree, Wemberlee, Bratislava etc Anyway here's the first draft.

Calling out around the world
Are you ready for a brand new beat
Scotland's here and the time is right
For dancing in the streets

We're dancing in Chicago
Down in New Orleans
In New York City
All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
We'll be swinging, swaying, ‘cos Scotland’s playing
Dancing in the street, oh

It doesn't matter what we wear,
Just as long as we are there
So come on, every guy, grab a girl,
Everywhere, around the world
We'll be dancing, dancing in the street

It's an invitation across the nations, a chance for Folks to meet
We’ll be laughing and singing, kilt’s a swinging
Dancing in the street

Philadelphia, PA
Baltimore in DC now
Don't forget the
motor city
On the streets of Brazil
Back in the USSR !
No matter where we are
All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
We'll be swinging, swaying, bagpipes playing
Dancing in the street, oh

It doesn't matter what we wear,
Just as long as we are there
So come on, every guy, grab a girl,
Everywhere, around the world
We'll be dancing, dancing in the street

Way down in L.A., everyday
Dancing in the streets
Cross in
China too
Me and you
Dancing in the street
Don't you know
We'll be dancing
Dancing in the street
Dancing in the street

This is a good effort. Like the changes and it's upbeat. Might be a bit long for us to learn it all?

Yeah, just needs bits of it and with a few TA related destinations inserted IMO.

Good fun song and a shorter version would be easy to remember.

If someone could put lyrics to the Tetris tune that would be a great Russian themed option

I don't know if I could bring myself to steal a song from the MLS.

Does look quite cool and is quite funny and relevant though.

Always thought Loch Lomond with the Gaelic lyrics in the middle would be great to sing as a chant at Scotland games.  Its upbeat and repeatable.

You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland afore you.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

Ho, ho mo leannan
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach
Ho mo leannan bhoidheach

You'll take the high road and I'll take the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland afore ye.
Where me and my true love will never meet again,
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

This already happens.

Sort of.
