Mee
So many questions. Why go in the river? How can you not get back out? How do you end up needing hospital treatment for hypothermia on a summers night.?

Depends where in the Kelvin he was.... if it was round about Great Western Road/Inn Deep Bar, then the banks there are pretty steep, so no wonder he got stuck. Sounds like half the squad were out in Glasgow for a session after the Thistle game on Saturday.

It might be summer (although that's debatable I suppose!) but the water will still be easily cold enough to lower the body's core temperature to levels that would induce the onset of hypothermia. Even in the warmest of summer weather.

wanderer
There is no rumours...... just horsing around (spoke with a guy last night who knows a few of the players socially when the story was just breaking) and apparently he went in after his shirt when it was chucked into the river on a night out and he got stuck. Fairbairn
The Dolphin was closed for about a year as part of the building it was in collapsed. Only opened up again in the last couple of weeks.

Less than 0.5% I'd venture. You offer reasons for how it could have happened which is fair enough but it's still a strange/rare occurrence
