Adrian sprott iirc mid 80’s can remember which cup though

Scottish Cup - the only cup that Souness never won with pre-sevco.

Lost to Hamilton, Dunfermline, Celtic and Celtic during his tenure.

Who was the big Dunfermline redhead that absolutely owned Butcher that day?

John Watson. Flying heider from about edge of the box (in my mind now!).

EDIT - well just inside the 6 yard box!

Aberdeen as poor as Motherwell were good today.

Hopefully Motherwell play like that next week. That would give them a good chance.

:ok:

Sounded like Motherwell were on the front foot and pressing from the off, much like the league cup game.

We haven’t played anywhere near as well since; or before actually, would love us to be able to play that way next Sunday.

Was very similar. I knew after 5 mins at Fir Park we'd lose. Exactly the same today.

Motherwell quicker and stronger all over the pitch.

I know, imagine a team that pay 1 player more per week than their entire opposition struggling to a 1-0 win.

Terrible performance.

Imagine other clubs with bigger budgets than their oppositions failing to even struggle to a 1-0 win and in fact getting beat by a couple of goals. Incredibly amusing.

The very essence of football.

Good point for hertz in their battle to reach the top 6

But, but when we get Cowie, Djoum and Hughes back

Still couldn't win

But, but when we get back to our spiritual home

Still couldn't win

But, but when the new stand is completed we'll be able to accommodate more fans

Today's attendance was still well short of Tinycastle's previous capacity

But, but when Tinycastle is complete it will be the biggest and best footballing arena in Edinburgh

Still isn't the biggest footballing arena in Edinburgh, nor is the pitch dimensions UEFA/FIFA compliant
