Derby v Forest - Russell played well, he will always put in a shift, but his final ball lets him down too often.

Martin didn't get on until 75 mins

Forsyth is slowly coming back to form and fitness after missing the best part of 2 seasons.

Mackay showed plenty of skill but should of scored when 1 on 1. It was always going to be difficult for him playing up against a beast of a defender in Wisdom.

Cummings looks to be playing wide right or wide left. Again, plenty of skill, good movement but had a couple of chances he should of taken. After 70 mins the petulance came out and tried a few cynical tackles and took a pot shot from 45 yards when a better pass was on. To be fair, he worked hard.

Anya will be leaving in Jan, Bryson is at Cardiff on loan but was having a few beers in the pub beside the stadium with the fans pre match.

Russell has had 4 caps but will struggle due to other better players we have in midfield. Worth keeping an eye on Derby though with their new manager Gary Rowett who was unfairly dumped from Birmingham to make way for 'loser' Zola.

Derby have a good number of Scots in recent years but the colony seems to be dwindling a bit.  Birmingham getting rid off Rowett must have been one of the most bizarre managerial decisiosn ever in the Championship.  Anyone mentioned Harry yet for the Scotland job?

Not a coincidence that they've achieved the square root of f u ck all in recent years.

The Championship can be a tough league to get promoted from as the likes of Wolves, leeds and Notts Forest can testify. Billy Davies was the last manager for Derby in the Premier and they have had play-off spots in the recent past in the Championship but have just fallen short. With Rowett they have a manager that could take them up.

No Robertson again for Liverpool.  I know he's made all the right noises recently to the press but I wonder how much longer he will put up with this.

I don't really think he's the level of player or type of person to make demands at a club of Liverpool's stature, particularly as he's only been there for three months. He'll get a run of games at some stage.

Who is the lad that came on for Man U last night, McTomnay or something like that?? Sure sounded a Scottish name but turns out he is English with Scottish parentage, and he sees himself as Scottish - is he any good?? Something like 6'5 but plays midfield...

Potential to be very good.

Turned down chance to play for u21s so not sure if he will play for us.

Id call him up next month and see what he does.

Bizarre how he's being treated there. We know he's a decent player from Hull, Moreno is dogs***, when he has played for Liverpool in the cups he's played pretty well by all accounts and yet he then gets dropped and dosen't even make the 18?!

Anyone know if he's having off the pitch issues. Didn't he become a Dad recently? Maybe there's been some issue with that.

He missed a Liverpool game a couple of months back because his wife/girlfriend gave birth but surely Klopp doesn’t hold that against him?

I know this won't go down well on here, but Bannon was brilliant today. So much skill and energy considering they were down to 10 men after 3 mins.

It's a shame he hasn't been given the free licence with Scotland that he gets with Wednesday.

Maybe the new manager’s system will suit him better. He’s certainly not a bad player he’s just never really excelled for Scotland.

I've always rated him. Scotland managers have just never used him properly, IMO.

You never know. Xabi Alonso was a mainstay in a Liverpool side that won CL, missed a game for the same reason and from that moment Benitez stopped trusting him and then sold him 6 months later.

Anything’s possible.

Klopp is a bit eccentric I suppose but it would be a bit of a dick move on his part if that was the case. It would also be illegal, if difficult to prove.

Just read in the paper that klopp has told Robertson he crosses too much . He would rather he passed to a team mate . How bizarre ?

What did he think he was buying?  That's Robertson's main selling point ffs.
