I think the SFA/SSC/ATAC do an absolute wonderful job they are world leaders when it comes to efficiency, innovation & customer service. We as paying customers really have no write to question any of their decisions as they simple know best!!

If we do not continue to offer them our unconditional support & unquestionable loyalty then the terrorists have won!!!

You pay cash to ATAC?

It appears the SFA and SSC serve the God of cash. ATAC appear democratically elected by the folk they represent.

They only represent a small percentage of the Scotland support as a whole. I stand by my comment, self serving shitebags

I'm haven't been involved in ATAC for a few years but was for a long time and was one of the people responsible for founding it.

in which way am I a self serving shitebag?

I'm all ears.

ATAC represent themselves and the clubs that are affiliated with them.

So how about they don't issue statements to all Scotland fans trying to tell them what to do and how to behave?

Or was it ATAC members who were abusive?

In what way do ATAC raise real concerns with our governing body ? - The guy from the Radio this morning if i remember correctly, didn't mention once that the last campaign was an abject failure & this one is heading the same way. instead it was the usual pish about " I can understand why some of the fans are unhappy"...why beat around the bush, just state facts & say it like it is FFS !!

question how many people are actually members of ATAC ?.  can anybody give a number.

Its the Association of Tartan Army Clubs so its the clus that are members not the individuals.

The Fair City Tartan Army are a member and i have been along to a few meetings representing the FCTA.

Think they estimated there wee around 2000 people who were members of the individual clubs whch in turn are members of ATAC

if the total number is 2000 then they do not really speak for the ssc /tartan army .

Maybe some of their members are on this message board?

Yet their statement was addressing Scotland supporters generally and not ATAC club members.

it says on there website -- to act on behalf of the fans of the Scotland national team, both home and away."

You've conveniently ignored the rest of that paragraph which says:

"ATAC directly represents over 1500 members of affiliated Tartan Army clubs throughout Scotland and beyond, but does not claim to directly represent the Tartan Army."

Nobody is claiming that they do.

Aims

" To represent the interests and views of both the member organiztions and the wider community of supporters of the scotland national football team with any interested parties and organizations"

"There will be no individual or personal membership of atac"

Tbh i think things like this should come from the SFA or SSC if they have a problem. I am not condoning anyone who abused staff, its not on, but equally does anyone even know if the alleged culprits will read the statement? Probably not, where as if staff were abused we should all get an e-mail telling us its not on and that its being investigated.

A pal of mine has been given a warning by the SSC.

He went to pick up at Wembley, and his ticket was given away. He wasn't shouty or swore, and he stood at the front of the queue for a full five minutes asking for an answer as to why, and what was to be done. He was blanked, and eventually told to leave or security would escort him away.

He eventually went away, but came back just as the game was starting, and politely asked if there were any tickets available. He was advised no, and that they couldn't give him a ticket that wasn't picked up - another mate had pulled out at the last minute, who's ticket was there and was willing to speak to the SSC and authorise it.

Now, he eventually did get in to the game after buying an English ticket and manage to meet us.

He has however been given a final warning from the SSC and been advised if he requests tickets in this manner again, or emails them asking for an investigation he will be banned.

I find this behaviour disgusting by the SSC and it is nigh on time some of those involved in the SSC are taken to task. Is there anything that @ATACcan do?
