  1. We know there will changes but not wholesale. Over the 3 games I think most of the squad will get a chance. Maybe something like this today? But it could be anything and that's something that we should celebrate. Strongest squad inavery long time.
  2. http://www.weglobalfootball.com/2020/11/13/uefa-world-cup-2022-qualifying-pots-update/ This is handy.
  3. Forgive my ignorance but how many right-footed centre back do we have?
  4. I watched QPR a few weeks ago and he got absolutely no service. I saw a few England fans on the wind-up that he's just a qpr player. He's wasted there.
  5. So much about this is positive. One thing to highlight is the strength in depth in that squad. McKenna is now a squad player. Armstrong and Griff were on the bench. Fraser, our most creative player, was replaced by Christie. Forrest is injured. Almost every position is covered with good quality. ...and then there will be emerging talent still to come.
  6. Turned off for 5 minutes as I felt sick. We are 1-1 into the 2and half of extra time. We have 3 subs left i think and Griffiths and Armstrong on the bench. We can do this!!@
  7. Absolutely. He gets a lot of shit but he gives it his all and can create a lot. Maybe the wing back role suits him. Looking at all the 'bring x on', 'bring y on' is fantastic. Who'd have thought we'd have so many options.
  8. What the hell was that? McGinn was being wrestled and free kick against him!
  9. I agree but I feel he offers a creative spark we don't really have without Fraser. Even if it's from the bench. I've been really disappointed with Middleton's lack of progression (still time) and so I hope Johnston can step up soon. I guess this goes back to the Gauld discussion. Christie, McGregor, Forrest, Armstrong and McGinn are all great but Fraser is the one who can spark.
  10. Daily Record reporting that Mikey Johnston is back in training. Really hope he develops as he could be a good alternative to Fraser.
  11. I'm not saying our Goalkeeper situation is perfect but it wasn't that long ago I was pretty pessimistic. Bain, Gordon, McLaughlin (occasionally) are all playing and able to cover Marshall. McCrorie and Doohan are positive for the future as well.
  12. Possibly, it depends on his recovery stage. It might be perfect timing: play a competitive match at just the right level. Sure an agreement will be reached about how many minutes.
  13. It's a real surprise. It's ideal for Chelsea I guess as a way of getting him back to fitness so he must be there to play, even if it's only a part.
  14. I have to say I was really impressed Doohan in the last game.
  15. Scott Banks goal v wolves (u23). Owen Brown tweeted this but can't share a tweet on here. Anyway, go to 2.53 to see the video. Fantastic goal.
  16. Yeah, Johnston's a player that we've not really mentioned lately. I know he's injured but when we've talked about younger players or those out injured I've forgotten him. It's really pleasing to think of who we have now and who's on the fringes. They'll improve the squad if nothing else. Clarke makes us difficult to beat and then we add quality as they are ready!
  17. It's positive. Really positive. However we need our best players against Serbia and Tierney is our best (for me). He needs to be at CB I think. His passing out is better than McTominay's and at Arsenal a lot of attacks start with him or go through him. The 3 CBs are hard to choose now though. McTominay/Jack vie for CM and then I don't really know what to do with McGregor and Armstrong. I'd go with Marshall Gallagher Cooper Tierney O'Donnell Robertson McGinn Jack Christie Fraser Dykes Turnbull, Gilmour, Campbell, McCrorie, Hickey and a few more will only make that squad stronger over the next year or two. C'mon!!!!
