I wouldn't want him to be. I'd want him to get forward. He plays in a middle 2 with Brown regularly. Mcginn would be the destroyer type and Cairney the creative and I would want Armstrong being almost box to box getting goals and driving us on.

I agree. We were 45 mins away from a play off place. They should have been out with fire in their hearts and running through walls for it. It was insipid. Agree. He should have came for it and wiped everyone out. Cross was in the 6 yard box. If he's not going to come for that then why oh why are we defending that free kick with such a high line. We were asking for them to do that. That's a lack of preparation for me. If we know Gordon isn't coming for free kicks like that we should be back at the penalty spot defending the cross. At least then we would have denied the space for them to do that.
