The most optimism I've seen on the Board in donks. It's great to see. No nonsense tonight. 3 points and we give ourselves a momentous opportunity. I too remember the away fixtures in Georgia where we've blown campaigns before so let's get it done!

Movies 2022

Prey. New Predator film set in 1719. Easily the best since the original. -
Another few defeats wouldn't be a total disaster. Relegated back to League C which is starting to feel more like our level to contest.

Strange to see so many anti-friendly posts considering how rare they are these days. I'm not sure the drop-off will be as they have been before, we're now seeing more competition for places across most of the pitch - which feels rare for a lot us - so there will be plenty of players looking to cement their places. And I'd much rather try new players / tactics etc in a friendly than a competitive game too. Miniscule in the grand scheme of things so will all just need to wait and see what happens.

New Video - Scotland Euro 2020 Preview - The Finals

That little sequence before the penalty save - sent a shiver right through me. Amazing work. -
Your Scotland squad (and first XI) for Euro 2020
McDange replied to Taylor1996's topic in TA specific
McBurnie out injured. Judging by the comments here though doesn’t look like he would have made most folk’s squad -
Looks like €185, €125 and €50 are the price points for the categories

Holyrood Elections 2021

North East Fife. Would have been a surprise to see Rennie lose his seat, but seeing the Tory vote collapse to support him. Better Together party in the next election? -

Orkney & Shetland predictably Lib Dem wins. Do the other parties just not get these areas? -
Holyrood Elections 2021

Nicola Sturgeon with 61.5% of the vote (-.03%) Looks like a big shift from Blue Tory to Red Tory in this one. -

Holyrood Elections 2021

I thought Tories would have taken this one too. A lot of far-right sympathisers up there. Swings and vote share is all good but the win is what actually matters. -
Anyone else spending a small fortune on trying to complete this?

And only yesterday we've seen his successor suck up to the PM in justifying his trip to Scotland. Someone who has had the virus doing non-essential travel in an area that's devolved. Nothing more than an attempted PR stunt. Although it's probably added a few more % to Yes for independence.

100,000 dead and Boris Johnson saying he's done the best he could. Gross negligence and he should be removed from office but instead the propaganda outlets are taking pity on him. What a pathetic state of affairs.

Holyrood Elections 2021
McDange replied to aaid's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
The Dross effect working well I see. Although will be interesting to see how Labour's Northern Branch vote holds up in the next round of polling now they've got rid of their manager. 82 / 129 pro-independence an encouraging majority. -
Another one bites the dust.
McDange replied to Archiesdad's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
Unless Labour's Northern Branch become a Scottish party and embrace independence, they will continue to remain an irrelevance. 1 MP, 3rd at Holyrood and Local Government and plummeting membership since 2014. Alternatively they should just formally merge with the Tories Northern Branch. 2 cheeks of the same erse. -
Michelle Ballantyne. Vote
McDange replied to davy-hay's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
Good news. Anything that splits and thins out the far-right vote is to be welcomed. Although still find it strange that some people choose to vote for political parties that are managed, funded and loyal to another country. Can't think of anywhere else in the world that happens. -
Easyjet Edinburgh Vienna Flights Cancelled
McDange replied to macwomble's topic in Austria v Scotland
Glad I logged back onto the board and saw this. No comms from easyJet or Lastminute which I would have expected. Was originally booked on this flight to go out the morning of the game - albeit as something to pretend to look forward than hope I guess. -
That's not a bad draw at first glance for us. Was always going to be Israel again though!

1990 World Cup Final I think is my earliest football memory, West Germany v Argentina. Picked back up again around Euro 96 and World Cup 98 before starting to become a regular from 2002 for Euro 2004.

There was a guy called Joseph that was kicking around Germany the first half of the 20th Century that used to come out with stuff like that.

The Brexit Thread

Exactly. This is 2020 and they are the electorate of the United States of America. Trump for the win. -
We do indeed, I stand corrected on the order.
