https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/scotland-mens-under-19s-squad-finalised-for-elite-round-in-italy/?rid=13925https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/scotland-mens-under-19s-squad-finalised-for-elite-round-in-italy/?rid=13925 I dont know what you 2 are looking at but he is in the under 19 Sqaud for the elite round. Dont have a problem with likes of Miller, Wilson and Watson in that sqaud as there in with a chance of qualifying for the first time since 2006 and it a under 20 world cup year . The whole group would benefit a lot more if they manised it rather than a few of them being away with the under 21.
  2. Just to remember fokes, they changed the rules of the nation league again, the top 2 go into a qualter final phase. 3rd gose into a relgation playoff with a 2nd place team in Group B and bottum gose straight down. So still a lot to play for to not finish last.
  3. Good draw, gives us a fighting chance of staying up and a chance of a top 2 if we play well at home.
  4. Dire mbude went on loan to Bristol city till the end of the season.
  5. Someone needs to ask the question and find out if he intrested in playing for the under 21s. Easy to forget how young he still is.
  6. Let hope he turns out more of a James Morrison rather than a Matt Ritice type. ๐Ÿ™„
  7. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/azeem-abdulai-being-same-pitch-neymar-embracing-swansea-way Found this on the Swansea website, Intresting backstory. looks like he had a few setbacks and played as a defender before Swansea moved him to center midfild. Hope he makes it and plays for the full team, just for the name ๐Ÿ˜€
  8. Azeem Abdulai is a new name to me, would be intresting finding out his background. From what I found looks like he was at Celtic and got relised at 16, before eventlyfully finding his way down to Swansea
  9. Not sure about that, think it Caicedo he competing with for game time, either way, brighton won there last 3 games 4-1, 5-1 and now 3-0 and he still hasent got on.
  10. Mixed news for the scots in the brighton V Liverpool game Doak got on for the last 20 minuites for Liverpool Gilmour again stuck to the bench again for the third game in a row, Dont know what going on with that. Thaough he did fine in the arsenel game.
  11. Gilmour stuck to the bench for the second game in a row. Not great would have expected him to get a few minuites at least, with Brighton cruising to victory in both.
  12. Can see why Adam and Mebude at Man City, Just hope, Mebude is commited to us going forward. Going forward 5 years, Doak and Mebude, playing in a front 3 could be a exciting prospect for Scotland.๐Ÿ˜
  13. A bit dissapointed with that, thaough Christie would have held out for a better move, with him being a free agent in Jan. In other news Jack Hendry will be playing Champion league football he's signed for Club Brugge. Only up against some guys called Messi Naymar and Mbappe. im sure he be fine ๐Ÿคช
  14. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/under-17s-squad-named-for-wales-friendlies/?rid=13925 The under 17 sqaud been picked to for a couple of games v Wales, first games for 2 years i think so a lot of new names to me. Blessing Oluyemi Aberdeen Jacob Pazikas Rangers Greig Allen Rangers Cameron Bell Everton Jack Kingdon Manchester United Chris McGinn Hamilton Academical Craig Moore Dundee United Finlay Murray Aberdeen Ben Doak Celtic Adam Emslie Aberdeen Charlie McArthur Kilmarnock PS Lennon Miller Motherwell Lewis Oโ€™Donnell Dundee United Dylan Reid St Mirren Emilio Lawrence Everton Dylan Lobban Aberdeen Adam MacDonald Motherwell Zak McKay Rangers Ashton Muir Manchester City Bailey Rice Motherwell PS Bobby Wales Kilmarnock Rory Wilson Rangers PS Blessing Oluyemi and Jacob Pazikas are the stand out, what a blessing it be if he makes it๐Ÿคฃ
  15. Sad news this. surly the SFA can invite him along to a scotland home game so us fans can play tribute to our greatest ever play, while he still got his memorys ?
  16. I see Jack Stretton a 19 year old forward , fingers crossed, just wondering how eligible he is for scotland, born in England. Hopefully a big season ahead for Dembele will convince him to go all in with Scotland, with the added bonus we might get the youngest one back too if he has his heart set on playing with his brother.
  17. If you look at there record they almost as been as bad as us over the last 20 plus years. Havent been to the World cup since France 98 (Funny enough they won our group last time out) and only been to 2 euros since, One where they hosted with Switzerland. Not sure the real quality of there team as any player would natually end up in Germany as historicly that where they seem to go.
  18. https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2021/3/22/22343856/gareth-southgate-england-bayern-munich-jamal-musiala-germany-joachim-low-hansi-flick-die-mannschaft Not sure of us but there recently lost 2 youth players to Germany and America. Seems to me to be a on going battle to recruit as many talents youngest in to there system as soon as possible no matter the cost. I could be wrong but they seem to head hunt a lot of du elgible players and promise them the world. Can see why a lot of young kids and there parents would be wooled by it all.
  19. Is it not also ther case that England are playing in a whole different market from the 80's ,90s where mostly ever team where filled with British players. Scotland was always the first place they looked too cause it was easier to recuit players. With the billions of tv money they can now afford to recruit the top foreign talent, so no wonder only the few best Scots end up there.
  20. This one would be really Annoying if it turns out to to be true as the Peformance Schools was set up to hopefully have kids devloping to become Futer internationlist for Scotland, not for bloody wales! Questions have to be asked do the peformance school coaches or the sfa just forgot about them when they leave the program. Would like to think they would at least keep in contact with them and keep them in the loop if they decent.
  21. Not sure how Scottish he is, but think Newcastle rate him highly.
  22. http://www.premstats.com/the-6-scottish-players-to-score-the-most-premier-league-goals/ Acording to this he third with 53 goals. Duncan Ferguson is first with 63. Sums it up really that we not had someone who scored reagulay in the last 30 years.
  23. Eck just noticed the triple header in September away to Denmark and Austria in one window. Not great that !๐Ÿค
  24. Funny thing is, if we do end up the 3rd best team out of the four group winners, we would want one of them in our world cup group as we could finnish 3rd behind one of them and end up with a playoff place still. ๐Ÿ˜†
